The Commission 3 of the National Assembly
Led by H.E. Mr. Try Chheang Huot Returns from the People’s Republic of China
On 21 January 2009, the delegation of the Commission on Planning, Investment, Agriculture, Rural Development and Water Resources of the National Assembly headed by H.E. Mr. Try Chheang Huot came back home after paying the official visit to the People’s Republic of China from 16 to 21 January 2010.
At Phnom Penh International Airport, H.E. Mr. Try Chheang Huot said that during the visit to China, the delegation met with Chinese high level dignitaries as follows: H.E. Mr. Wang Guang Tao, Chairman of the Committee on Environment and Natural Resources Protection of the National People’s Congress of China, Representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of China, H.E. Mr. Zhu Li Jiang, Vice President of China’s National People’s Congress of Yunan Province and H.E. Mr. Qin Wei Jun, President of China’s National People’s Congress of GuangXi Province.
During talks, H.E. Mr. Try Chheang Huot also conveyed felicitation messages from the three Samdech: Samdech Akka Moha Thamma Pothisal Chea Sim, President of the Senate, Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin, President of the National Assembly and Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the leaderships of China.
The Excellency added that the purpose of the visit is to tighten the bonds of friendship, solidarity and cooperation between the two countries and to seek more understanding of China’s experiences and he also affirmed the Cambodian Royal Government ’s strict adherence to One-China policy. At the same time, the Excellency thanked the government and the people of China who have always provided assistance to Cambodia for both the spiritual and technical materials especially unconditional aid in restoring infrastructures, economy, tourism, industry, investment, agriculture and human resources development.
The Excellency said that with the visit the delegation would acquire experiences as impetus and new methods in order to effectively deal with the Commission’s affairs |
